Top 4 NYC Clubs and Lounges for a Sunday Night Out

Sunday nights are not typically known for buzzing with social events but in a city like New York, something is always happening! If you’re looking for a great club or lounge to try on the last night of the weekend, you’ve come to the right place. We want to do away with the stigma of Sunday night blues and show you a good time. We have hand picked four amazing venues for a fabulous Sunday night out on the town.

1. Taj Lounge—Chelsea
Taj Lounge is great spot for a Sunday event. On the first Sunday of every month, Taj hosts a brunch buffet extravaganza— a party that goes well into the night— with delicious food and tasty spirits. The brunch menu screams comfort food with a homemade chicken wing station, brioche french toast, traditional mac and cheese, and cornmeal crusted catfish fritters, yum! Opulent imported décor in addition to the mahogany and copper-topped bar transport guests to India without every having to leave the comfort of New York City and this warm atmosphere truly inspires a relaxing, Sunday night out.

2. The DL—Lower East Side
The DL is one of the most unique venues in Manhattan making it a perfect place to spend a Sunday night out. Their multi-level floor plan offers guests a variety of atmospheres to choose from, ensuring the experience of a lifetime. If you’re looking for a relaxed dinner party with delicious cuisine, the first floor will happily oblige. The second floor, known as the Red Room, is reserved for smaller events, and the pièce de résistance is the third floor. A spacious room with a retractable roof, outdoor patio area, and superb dance area is what everyone is talking about while enjoying the amazing views of the Williamsburg Bridge, a tasty cocktail, and a mood set my the DJ of the night. For a fantastic Sunday night out, definitely stop by The DL.

3. The Ainsworth— Chelsea
The Ainsworth in Chelsea is a crowd favorite every day of the week! It is a multi purpose space making it the perfect venue for any occasion (especially a Sunday night out). Sunday specials at The Ainsworth include two hours of unlimited brunch cocktails when you add twenty dollars to any entree and a forty dollar specialty brunch pitcher of the month (July is Watermelon Basil Margarita)! They also have a hopping Sunday nightlife! The eight HD televisions make for a great spot to watch the big game and the wood paneled walls give off a rustic and homey vibe. Pair that with the mac and cheese burger that guests rave about and you have yourself the perfect, relaxing Sunday night out!

4. Le Reve— Midtown East
Our fourth venue is Le Reve. This place is one of the best for a Sunday night out. From 5pm to 4am guests can enjoy the Mediterranean décor and cuisine in this Arabian nights inspired hookah lounge. They have state-of-the-art sound systems, intelligent lighting, multiple plasmas and large projection screens and a stage for performances. Start off your culinary experience with their Three Way Hummus Tasting, complete with classic, chipotle, and cilantro hummus. Followed by a shawarma wrap or a specialty kebab and finish the meal with their decadent chocolate mousse. Pair your dishes with a cocktail like the Moroccantini— Stoli Orange, mint, Triple Sec, and cranberry juice— and Le Reve Hookah (mixed fruit) to complete your memorable Sunday night out.
